"Vintage Tea To You’s (Cup & Carriage's) service was simply amazing.

Scheduling my tea party was very easy. Once the date and time were chosen, Whitney sat down with me for a brief planning session. She suggested menu options, including ideas for food I would have never thought of on my own. She also provided suggestions about kinds and quantities of tea and the necessary accompaniments (sugar and cream). This session made my single shopping trip very directed, and I felt confident in my purchases.

On the day of the party, she arrived at my house on time and with a carton full of goodies, ready to set up. She helped me figure out table and chair placement, and having her expertise there completely eliminated the second-guessing I often do with such decisions. She gave me some advice on the food (when to start making sandwiches, how to cut them to be extra appealing, etc.) and then left me to leisurely assemble them while she set up the table.

Whitney made my cramped table look elegant and beautiful, laden with a delicious tea-time feast. She performed some clever re-arranging that made it so that no one noticed how small the table actually was! She skillfully placed the items I’d purchased in ways I would have never come up with myself. The gorgeous and unique tableware made everything so festive and fancy. I was so proud of how everything looked at my party, and my guests were so impressed. I don’t have much of an eye for presentation, but Whitney’s expertise, skill, and practiced eye made me look like a genius!

My guests and I enjoyed a relaxed and fancy tea together. Thanks to Whitney’s suggestions, I knew the best time to get refills, and thanks to the electric kettle she brought, they were ready promptly when needed. Her guidance really helped me become the best hostess I could be.

At the end of my party, Whitney arrived back to clean up. She cleared the table and took care of cleaning all of the dishes. (!!!) I was able to relax and enjoy the company of my guests, while she did all the hard work associated with hosting parties. When all was said and done, all I had to wash were the cutting board and knife I used to make the sandwiches. I’ve never had such easy party cleanup!

Throughout all aspects of working with Vintage Tea To You (Cup & Carriage), Whitney was a true professional. Her expertise and knowledge were apparent, and I knew I could trust her to help me make my tea party wonderful. I’ve never been more relaxed and stress-free at a party I’ve thrown. The table looked amazing, and I got tons of compliments from my guests – Whitney made me look good!"
